The owner, Giuseppe Anthony Maniscalco, was born in Italy. He spent many years in the cooking industry in Switzerland, Germany, and Italy before moving to the United States. He worked as a chef in New York City, and, in 1996 moved to Exton, PA, where he founded
Anthony's Wood Oven Pizzeria and Ristorante Italiano.
Chef Maniscalco will prepare the same kinds of pizza that was presented to Queen Margarita of Italy, Italian opera singer Luciano Pavarotti, and others.
